When you are living in the desert you have sunny days all the time. During the summer there is no reason to even check the weather report unless you want to see if we are hitting a new record temperature. The greatest thing about the summer months though is Arizona gets some great monsoons. It does not last very long but when it happens it brings a smile to my face. Massive lightning that lights up the sky. Thunder shaking my apartment and rain coming down hard.

YEAH! A true Arizona native is a huge freak for thunderstorms. Monsoon ROCKS! I wanted to go running through the streets last night for sure.
The stench goes away and leaves you with fresh clean air – it smells wonderful outside today.

I would probably love AZ. Being here in FL the weather is almost the same. It doesnt get as hot but the humidy takes care of that for us. During the summer it rains at least once a day on average. Most of the time it is heavy rain, and I love it.
