During my cross country trip last October I made a stop at the Cadillac Ranch on the outskirts of Amarillo, Texas. The Cadillac Ranch is an art sculpture that resides on the side of I-40. It consists of 10 different Cadillac’s with their noses buried in the ground. This place was just so odd that I had to stop and see it for myself. The cars are in the middle of an empty field and you are encouraged to grab some spray paint. For more information on this check out the Cadillac Ranch website.
One of the most challenging and difficult things for me to do is explain what twitter is to people. Well the folks over at Common Craft have a made a video called Twitter in Plain English and it is a great explanation of twitter and why so many people love it. Over my many years of listening to hard rock and heavy metal I have once or twice done air guitar. (Ok that is a lie. Even at age 23 I still do it all the time when I hear a good song.) Well now a company called Jada Toys is coming out with an air guitar that you can really strum the notes. So now everyone will know if you suck at air guitar or not. Personally I’ve seen some people do horrible jobs on the air guitar and this new gadget will confirm that they should give up air guitar. The air guitar is scheduled to be out the beginning of march. Just in time for my birthday which is on March 24th. *hint hint* I want an air guitar for my birthday!
