Grand Central Stands Still (for 5 minutes)

Improv Everywhere is a group based in New York City who are known for going on missions to “cause scenes”. Some of the most notable missions they have performed have been the No Pants Subway Ride and No Shirt Abercrombie & Fitch mission.
Their latest mission happened in a very high traffic and busy location in NYC. Grand Central Terminal has around 500k people walking through it everyday. For IE’s latest stunt they gathered up around 200 people and headed into Grand Central. At the same exact moment all 200 people froze in place as if time had just stood still. This lasted for 5 minutes as just about every commuter who walked by had a confused look on their face. I’ve been following Improv Everywhere and a few flash mob groups and it really makes me wish that we had a group like this in the Phoenix area.
