IE8 Beta Microsoft in a surprise move released IE8 yesterday to the internet world. It is still in beta but the new version seems to have some great enhancements. The first thing I noticed is it loads up quicker than IE7. In IE8 there is something called webslices which lets you subscribe to individual portions of a page. Also in the new release you have live maps integration and better support for Ajax. So far I haven’t had any problems with the new version after a few hours of using it. But I just don’t see myself switching to Internet Explorer anytime soon. Firefox will still be my choice when it comes to my preferred browser.
If you would like to give IE8 beta a test drive of your own you can download it at the following url.
