First Time in the New Apartment

I figured I should give a little update on what exactly has been going on with me. It has been almost 3 weeks since I drove into Tempe and what a ride I have had so far. Lets just start at the beginning. I drove into Tempe on Friday and moving into my apartment was a breeze. It was just a whole lot of sign here and sign here and read this and OH! initial here. But the major problem I had my first few days was that the apartment had 0 electricity. My dumb self did not call the electric company until the last day of my trip and they were unable to turn on the electric until the following Monday which meant I was in the dark for 3 days and more importantly I had no air conditioning. I also did not have any furniture for the first week I was in the apartment either.
So just picture me in a dark apartment sleeping on the floor. During the day I parked myself at local coffee houses like coffee plantation and just hung their grabbing some free wi-fi and also charging all my electronics. During the night I watched videos and movies on my laptop until it died. It was a pretty interesting few days but it was not as bad as you would think. Personally I’m not a very fussy or picky person and had no problem sleeping on the floor. I could really just plop myself anywhere and sleep.
Monday came and I was due into work for my 1st day at 9am in the morning. For those who don’t know I work at a retail store selling baby items. I know it is a glamorous job and you are all jealous. Anyways my first day at the job went fine and I got home to ELECTRIC!
I’ll post part 2 of this tomorrow. Lots of updates to get to and lots to talk about.

The final day of the trip was an exciting day for me. I was so happy to finally reach Tempe. During the last day of the trip I decided to make a few stops at some very interesting locations in AZ.

For the 4th day I traveled a little over 530 miles. It started off in Elk City, OK and finished a few miles from the Arizona border in Gallup, NM. I was trying hard to make it into Arizona but found a very cheap motel in Gallup so I jumped at the chance to save a little cash. The entire day was spent on I-40W. A few of the stops along the way were one giant cross in the middle of nowhere. Also I visited the Cadillac Ranch in Texas which was a very interesting thing to see. I’m going to try and post a video of it soon.
